Bom dia! All the way from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! Just touched down with my hubby a couple days ago for a belated honeymoon, and it was well worth the wait. From the weather, to the scenery, to the kind and energetic locals, it is no wonder people travel 14+ hours to get here. The streets are buzzing, and are so alive. All of your senses are stimulated at once. The beaches are incredible to say the least. Its like a giant party in the powder soft sand. It was only appropriate that I wear a white dress to represent our special occasion. This one is boho fresh, perfect for a stroll on the town, and a picnic at the beach.

These sandals are perfect for this trip since there is so much walking and dancing to do here in Brasil. They're super comfy and versatile! As for accessories, beading and charms gave this boho look an even flow.

Walking through the streets of Copacabana, and bathing in the Ipanema sun were things I only dreamt of. I truly feel blessed to be able to do this with my best friend/partner in crime/ soul mate. It was an honor to become his wife, and I'm beyond delighted to be here with him. Thank you, and I love you oh so much Mr. Olano! Cheers!

On The Flip Side

Last weekend I was able to escape the heat wave that hit L.A. while I was in the gorgeous city of San Francisco. There I encountered cool temperatures, and crisp air. It was the perfect time to wear my high waisted flares before summer is in full effect.

Lets talk denim on denim, aka Canadian tuxedo! So its been a while since it was ok to pull this off. With all the trends from all the eras going around, I feel that its safe to try almost any look from the past. This one in particular is circa 1970. At that time it was totally cool to wear denim on denim. I chose two different tones to create contrast. This outfit totally put me in a far out mood!

Vintage accessories kept the mood flowing just right. By using different colors I was able to add pop to the denim mania.

Have an incredible weekend my little fashionistas! Cheers!

Plaid Wanderlust

We're almost half way through the year, and the temperatures have started to rise. So with that being said, its time to bring out those sandals and tanks. While strolling through one of my favorite places to hang out, Santa Monica, I wore this cool, and I mean let the breeze in cool, tank. It was about 85 degrees in SM, and it was just the right amount of fabric. Plus the embellishments aren't too shabby.

Boy do I love these plaid pants! They're seriously one of my favorite skinnies. You would think that there is only so much you can do with green plaid, but I have mixed and matched these with almost every color, and haven't been disappointed yet.

These velvet mules you see here are the only hot pink item I own thus far, and you know what? I'm kind of growing fond of the color. Ok maybe just as an accent color for now. Baby steps.  And check out the texture… velvety smooth!

Get started on a different track this month by mixing your everyday pieces with vivid pieces. Go ahead be adventurous with what you wear. Change your mood with your style! Cheers!
