An Ode to Spring

Well what do ya know! Spring is here. Actually in L.A. its just a change in fashion, because we really only get one type of season with an occasional change. With that being said here's a morsel of 2014 spring fashion. Again, with this look I'm dabbling in the art of mixing patterns and prints. Nothing says spring more than floral print, and when mixing it with other patterns I like to go with stripes.

These floral jogger pants are great for a laid back kind of day. I bring them out when I want to be comfy, yet stylish.

How rad are these flats! They have a ninja shoe feel with a chic twist. The reptilian texture also gives them some sort of interesting vibe.

It was great chatting with you awesome folk. Have a great weekend! Lord knows we deserve it. Cheers!

Simply Stylish

Hey fashionistas! So last weekend I went to a Simply Stylist fashion and beauty event and mingled with some very talented bloggers. I learned so much, and can't wait to share all the awesome tips with all of you.  For this event I decided to wear something very light but at the same time striking. This rose gold foiled skirt did just the trick!

I can't complain about how enticing this statement necklace is, and because it is so bold I balanced the scheme by wearing a plain white tank top from MANGO.

Although it isn't quite summer yet, I still wore my white platform sandals, being that the temperatures have been rather high around here.

I have to say, I left Simply Stylist feeling motivated, and inspired to make this fashion experience as pleasurable for me as I want it to be for all of you!

Garden Flow

For a while now I've been thinking about starting an edible garden project, and I finally decided to act on it this week. So I headed over to a local nursery and found an array of delectable options. I knew it would be a great photo opportunity so I wore something fun and classic. Since I was going to be around flowers, I gave the floral look a rest, and went with a classic black and white striped tee. I imitated the cropped look by tying and tucking a knot in order to keep me cool from this sudden hot weather.

This midi-skirt is the main attraction to the whole ensemble. It has a very classy, and
playful feel to it. Some think satin should be worn on special occasions, but if you pair it with casual pieces, you can totally wear it on an everyday occasion.

Don't these emerald flats remind you of a mermaids tail? I found these at JustFab.com! Check out their amazing program for gorgeous shoes at an amazing price.

Hope everyone is ready for St. Patty's day. Cheers!

Bomber Babe

When it rains it pours in L.A., but luckily it was cloudy with a little sunshine on Third St. at the Santa Monica promenade. The weather was appropriate for this fantastic bomber jacket from Mango. It kept me warm all the while my netted tee let just the right amount of breeze in.

Check out all the beautiful details on this jacket. I can really appreciate the variety of flowers, and the boldness of the colors out in the daylight. It is one of those jackets that you can style for different occasions.

Midi rings have got to be one of my favorite trends of the past year. Stacking up my fingers with these little guys is fun and stylish.

Willie Wonka had his golden ticket, and I've got my golden oxfords! This pair of Sam Edleman's are such a great find. It's got that male inspired look with a feminine touch. I literally get excited when I slip into these, and that is how I know I'm fashion obsessed. I need help…. NOT! See you soon guys and dolls. Cheers!
